Occupational Violent Crime Program

Workplace violence or Occupational Violent Crime (OVC) encompasses all acts of international battery, rape, or homicide, which occur during the course of employment.

Over 30,000 incidents of occupational violence are reported annually with a resulting loss to employers measured in billions of dollars.   Violence in America in general has escalated sharply in recent years and workplace violence has kept pace with this overall increase.  A serious incident could even drive a company to bankruptcy.  Without a doubt, workplace violence and homicide constitute a significant problem.

Employers must recognize and address the seriousness of this problem in terms of costs to the business and in the impact on the morale of the work force.

Additionally, employers must concern themselves with the liability resulting from failing to provide a safe work environment.

InterTech Group, Inc., can provide a comprehensive program to control this growing problem through the development of state of the art procedures and guidelines for your business.

InterTech Group, Inc., will conduct on-site training for members of the Human Resource Department, management, and line supervision to implement these proactive control techniques.
